Digital Beti is a joint initiative of CSC Academy and Facebook which envisions to overcome the digital gender gap in India by training women from rural areas to become entrepreneurs, using digital tools. 5,000 Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs), as Master Trainers, have trained over 250,000 rural entrepreneurs on digital skills in over 300 districts across 10 Indian states. In line with Hon’ble PM Modi’s vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat, the program shall be a stepping-stone in making India a self- reliant nation and driving the rural economy.
